Before HEC attestation, your secondary school certificates (Matric and Intermediate / F.Sc / ICS / O & A-Levels) must be verified by the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC). Submit online via the IBCC portal and select TCS courier or walk-in appointment.

Create an account on the Higher Education Commission (HEC) E-Services portal (eservices.hec.gov.pk). Fill in your primary, secondary, and tertiary educational details. Upload scanned copies of all degrees and semester-by-semester transcripts.

Once initial scrutiny is approved via SMS/email, download the fee challan and pay via 1Link / bank. Pack your original degree, original transcripts, IBCC-attested Matric/F.Sc copies, and CNIC copy into a secure TCS envelope.

Once HEC pastes their QR code verification sticker on the back of your original documents, you must get them counter-attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) camp offices (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta) or designated postal services.

Avoid "Ever since childhood I loved computers". Instead, start with a specific engineering problem, real-world data bottleneck, or industrial challenge you encountered during your Bachelor final year project or internship.

Showcase how your undergraduate curriculum prepared you with concrete competencies. Mention your core modules, laboratory investigations, published papers, or competitive hackathon projects.

The most decisive section. Name specific course modules, research laboratories, and professors whose recent publications directly align with your thesis ambitions. Prove you researched the syllabus thoroughly.

Articulate realistic career objectives. What role do you plan to take in the first 2-3 years after graduation? What is your 10-year leadership goal, and how will it benefit your field or region?

Under German federal immigration law (§ 16b AufenthG), international students without a full scholarship must prove adequate financial subsistence for their first year. For 2026/2027, the mandatory amount is €11,904 (€992 per month for 12 months).

Choose an officially recognized provider: Expatrio (partnered with Aion Bank), Fintiba (partnered with Sutor Bank), or Coracle. Most provide an all-inclusive package bundling statutory health insurance (TK, Barmer, or DAK) and incoming travel insurance.

Transfer funds from a local bank account via State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) student foreign exchange quota, or through international banking wire (SWIFT) using the IBAN generated in your blocked account dashboard.
